For just above 200, the Genesys GT is awfully full-featured, packed with a re-designed Jug Precise liner, Featherlite 2 frames from Ground Control and 56mm/90A wheels from BHC. It comes with exchangeable soul frames and backslide plates which protect the boot and can be easily replaced when worn. The groove of the backslide plate is perfectly aligned with the frame making locking on a snap and no breaking-in necessary. Combined with a hot color scheme the feature set is a win. Even the bad guys want one!

I bought two of these Razor bikes for my nephews for Christmas. They had to wait until spring to ride them because of the winter weather, but really loved all the cool tricks they could do on these bikes. They were the only kids in the neighborhood to have the Razors. Well, not anymore, seems the bikes were so nice that even the local bike theives had to have them and they have already been stolen from their yard. They were really sharp looking bikes and at $99.00 each (at Xmas), and free shipping, I felt like I was getting a steal, guess I was right. Next time I buy a chain for them too.

I got one because I had a BMX park near my house and I needed a BMX bike.So I decided to get this one.Well first of all its defiantly NOT a professional BMX bike.The tires pop when ever I try to jump.Also,the handlebars move forward when I jump.It weighs over 43 pounds!!Thats CRAZY HEAVY for a BMX.I might as well stick to riding my brother's $375 Hoffman BMX.If anybody is wondering what a Hoffman bike is,its the most professional BMX bike that money could buy.All of the Hoffman's are more bang for your buck. To buy a Hoffman,go to [...] for the Hoffman Scarab EL.Its the best performer for your money.

New Ripstiker...

I've had the chance to try the "DLX" version as well as the Regular Ripstik version and there is a big difference in the way that they ride. The main difference is the tightness of the torsion bar on the DLX. It has a tighter spring so you're less likely to scrape the bottom of the Ripstik on turns. The tighter spring also puts less strain on your ankles because it springs back on its own a lot easier in stead of relying on ankle-strength. This makes the board a breeze to use.

Both are still about the same weight, the DLX version being SLIGHTLY lighter and thinner -- although you'll be hard-pressed to tell the difference.

The all-black version looks a lot slicker, less like a toy and more like a wicked, futuristic skateboard.

On Amazon there is a "Deluxe" DLX version, however, in my research I have found no difference between this version and the Regular DLX version, or the "Toys 'R' Us" DLX Version -- they're all the same.

The Ripster: The Ripstik Ripster versions are a different riding experience altogether because they take a different set of muscles to operate. Where the larger Ripstik version uses more hips, the smaller version uses more of your ankles and knees. The tighter turning radius of the smaller Ripster makes it more maneuverable in tight spaces (like around the house or garage, basement, etc.) but the larger version is better for cruising on the roads and sidewalks, and the cost of maneuverability. I'm not sure the difference between the Ripstik Ripster and the RR DLX, but there's a $30 difference, so it's probably lighter and tighter like the regular DLX.

Back to the DLX: The only con I can think of is that Razor made a huge improvement with the torsion bar in this version, and it's a shame that they charge you more for such a cheap-costing change that should be in the Regular version as well. Apparently they shaved off a little weight by using aluminum instead of steel but the difference is minimal. The other problem with this product is that it is really hard to find information about the differences in riding experiences without riding them (so far I'm the only one I know with such a review).

If you're looking to get a Ripstik (and I highly recommend you do -- they're really fun to ride), I would say save up an extra $30 and get the easier-to-control DLX version. You'll ride this thing for hours at a time, and the last thing you want is for your ankles to be really sore.

Ripstik Ripster vs DLX deluxe

I first bought the Ripstik Ripster on sale at BigLots for 50 bucks (Incidentally, am I the only one who gets confused by the naming of their products?). The Ripster I am referring to is the short, light version with the smaller 66mm wheels. I wanted something I could cruise around on while my wife jogs around the park and I'm a little too lazy to actually jog. I snowboard on occasion and thought this would be a great product to improve my balance and provide me a mild workout as well. Anyway, it turned out to be a lot of fun and the feeling of "sliding" down a mild slope was is a rather sublime one and it does kind of feel like snowboarding. I was able to balance and propel myself after an hour or so by myself (I practiced alone because I was too macho to let my wife see me make a fool out of myself). Anyway, after about a month of ownership, I finally had my first fall when the front wheel got caught in a groove and I landed hard. That started me thinking that I should try the larger model with bigger wheels for better stability and faster speed (these things don't go very fast on the flats). I ordered the DLX a few days ago and have been riding it for not too long but here are my first impression of the DLX: It looks a lot cooler but it weighs more by a couple of pounds which makes a difference. It feels like I have to "work" more to get where I want to go and more bulky when I have to lug it around areas I can't ride on when I go to the park with my wife. The bigger wheels are a mixed blessing because they feel more stable and I can go over bumps and grooves with more confidence than the ripster. I can also go downhill with more confidence because of the bigger 76mm wheels. The trade-off is that the DLX has less "feel" to it because it isolates you more from the road and consequently feels less fun. I'm a little saddened that the DLX does not seem to propel me significantly faster than the ripster on level roads. Overall, I'd say that I would suggest the DLX if you want the 220lb weight support, or if you travel over mixed roads, or longer distances (The DLX makes less road noise as well). Take the ripster if you want better feel, lighter weight and a cheaper price tag. Amazon is selling the Wave Board with even larger 77mm wheels for 84 bucks but I picked the ripstik because the DLX looks more streamline and a newer product (I was hoping newer meant more advance and better but I don't have a wave board to compare). I also ruled out the 80mm WhipTide because it didn't look enough like a board for me and there were not enough reviews on Amazon and youtube on the product for me to try another product. I may post another review later on if my opinion of the DLX changes or if I try the other products.

Really cool board!

My 12 year old had been wanting one of these caser boards for some time, and I had wondered how sucessful he would be in learning to ride it. After a bit of research and checking out the different models at local stores we ordered him the DLX from Amazon. He has taken to this thing "like a duck to water" and rides the thing every day. The engineering of this board is really quite interesting. It is well made and seems as if it will last a long time. My only recommendation is this...if you buy one and enjoy riding it, go ahead and stock up on some extra wheels. As I mentioned he has been riding this thing like mad...mostly on concrete and asphalt. After about 6 weeks the rear wheel is completly gone! The front wheel is worn a bit, but not nearly as bad. The wheels and bearings for the DLX are uique, and are not everywhere on the internet, but I did find them at the Razor web site. Overall, we think it is a great product!

the best entry level electric scooter on the market

I read the reviews!.. its slow, the back tire is small and solid and when you brake it gets the flat lines like the original scooters...Phoey! stay on the straight surfaces, no driveways to kill the back tire... This thing is built VERY well, its quiet, fast enough for a 7-8 year old and the brake is in the front so how others got back tires to go flat is beyond me. The throttle is so good you dont need the brake 99% of the time. For 99.00 this is the most fun my 7 year old has had in a long time, he cant wait for the batteries to charge again :) This is 300% more scooter than we all got 2 years go.

i have had one of these kind of scooters. i am 11 years oldwhen i first got it i would never let anyone ride it it was so precious to me but i learned to share (hahaha). well one day my older brother was riding it and he was tooooo heavy it broke. this does not mean it isnt durable it is but once i found out that he broke it i was reallly mad and sad. maybe you should read how much you weigh before you get on it (to my brother he a little dumb, just joking) everyday i used to come home and ride it for like ever. now its in pieces in our garrage. i really miss having an elecrtic scooter i would ride them everywear. @ the park and around my block. i even took it camping. i keep on telling my mom and begging her to get me a new one but shes thinking about it. if u are a parent and ur child wants one of these they are sooo totally awasome. when my freinds came over we would have sooo much fun i was never boored when i had that scooter. GET YOUR CHILDREN ONE THERE SO GOOD!

Whoa! This is BAD!

This thing is horrible! The first couple of times you ride it, it's great, but then the back tire gets bumpy from braking. Even if you squeeze on the hand break a little bit. The front tire is fine because it's filled with air, but the back tire is like a plastic, so when you ride it more and more the back tire wears down, which makes for load sounds, and a terrible bumpy ride. Pieces and screws fall off, and it goes really slow. Like 4 miles per hour slow. Don't trust the ads. If you're looking for an Electric Razor Scooter, then get an E-200 or E-300, both tires on those are filled with air, so it gives you a great, smooth ride. Overall: Do NOT get an E-100!

Razor EcoSmart - Good Choice for the Money

The Razor was very easy to assemble (my wife put it together) and, after charging the battery, the kids were off and running. The scooter is strong and fast. A helmet is a must with this scooter. The only problem was with the power not really turning off. After the first couple of weeks, I went to move the scooter with the power off and it nearly jumped out of my hands. This could potentially be a serious situation.

Not compatable

Scooter made for US power therfore not compatable with Australian electrical supply. On receiving scooter we were unaware of this and on pluging in with adapter we blew house power and blew charger. Amazon contacted and they say that they will refund for new charger and step down transformer but we are now well into January and my sons scooter that we bought him for xmas is still unused. Both items are not available locally infact the charger has had to come from the US. SO BEWARE check power supply before purchase to avoid disapointment

I purchased the Razor EcoSmart recently as my daughter' Christmas Present. It was easy to assemble except it was missing several bolts, the stickers were pealing and it had rust on the frame. The quality was not there. This was my 3rd razor purchase. I am highly disappointed. I contacted razor and they told me I had to discuss my problems with the retailer, they told me to call razor. After calling razor a 3rd time and asked to speak with a supervisor I was connected to the supervisors mailbox and she never called me back. This is my last razor. They do not care about their customers or reputation. Buy at your own risk.

Great Ride for the Price

I had my doubts about this scooter since it was so reasonably priced, but so far it has been a great ride. I got it for my 8 year old son to play around with on the sidewalks but discovered that it is fun for me too! My son's friend got the next level down in scooters, the E100 I think, and his is much slower. Plus he does not have the option of the seat. With the E200S, you can decide to use the seat or go without it, and my son chose to use it. He loves his scooter, and it was definitely a good buy.

Scooter for adults too

I am a college student and purchased this scooter because with a 220 lb weight limit,it was the only one that could hold an adult (and bookbag, laptop, etc) within my price limit. This little machine is a wonder in a time of gass prices rocketing. I read the other reviews before purchasing this past summer (2008) and was prepaired for the worst, I purchased an extra battery and charger with the scooter. When one battery is on the scooter the other is charging. I keep a charger in my bookbag and one at home at all times. This has served me well. I ride every day to school (about 20 min.) and only have to hop off and walk it on the steepest inclines, let it charge or change the battery when I reach campus and have enough charge to ride back home. This is also good for quick runs to the grocery store three blocks away and I have a basket tied below the seat to carry more than I could on foot. The battery lasts longer if you let it run out completely before charging but heavier weights and uphill travel will wear it down quicker as well, so the extra battery and spare charger were what made this worth the price.

We bought this item as a Christmas gift for my 10 year old. She loves it. It looks great, runs smoothly and quietly and has some power to it. It was simple to assembly, charge and get up and running. If there is one drawback, it is that the charges do not seem to hold very long.

this scooter over all is great. i love everything about it. the grips are a little rugged on your hands. overall performance is amazing. except i have had my scooter for three months and a giant chunk came out of my wheel so you can see the metal core. i oredered a new wheel for my scooter from mgp. hope it lasts longer.

Our son (8 years old) loves his ultra pro lo scooter. We spend almost every night at the skate park. It's sturdy and well-built. Unlike some of the other Razor scooters, this one does not fold, so you have to fit it into your trunk full-size.

Great Bike but much smaller than advertised

This is a great bike. My 11 year old son loves this bike and rides it almost everyday. The bike has a tremendous amount of power. I weigh 190# and it carried me well on an initial test drive. My 11 year old son who has been riding electric bikes for several years does terrific on this bike. He weighs 65 pounds and is 55" tall. The bike seems to be perfect for him based on his size and experience riding. The bike is interesting in that it is extremely powerful but size wise is designed for kids 9-12 years old. The box says 16 and up, which is ridiculous. The bike seems well designed and has a nice suspension system and dual disk breaks. The price is unbelievable for what you get but I would only recommend it for kids 9- 12 who have experience riding other powered bikes. The tires are pneumatic however they are very hard and knobby. They are fine for off road use but a slip out fast on slick pavement. Over all a great bike for experienced 9-12 year olds who have a non paved surface to ride on. We didn't experience any problems mechanically or electrically.

AWESOME PRODUCT!!! WELL BUILT!!! SUPER TOUGH!!

My kids has rode this bike non stop since the day it arrived!!! I had to install the handle bars and front tire, i also checked over all nuts and bolts. This took 10 mins. and then the battery had to charge....(my kid was wanting to ride right then) BUT when he did ride it.....He loved it!!!! I like the fact that there is NO NOISE and the speed tops out at like 22 mph. PERFECT for an 8 yr. old boy!!! All of his friends have now bought them.....500's and the 650 and the 650 is ALOT faster than the 500!!
These bikes are tough and take a beating!!! My kid has dumped it like 4 times and NOTHING has broke yet!!!
MY only complaint is the decals!!! they start to peel off from the 1st ride!! Not that big of a deal...I went out and bougt Suzuki stickers and now it looks like a factory ride!
The disc brakes are GREAT and stop on a dime!! The tires are wearing down fast since the kids mostly ride on the sidewalks and street!
I like the bike and am glad i bought a RAZOR rather that a cheap china replica from Ebay!

Love Razor products!!

We have bought 5 different types of Razor electric scooters and bikes for our 6 children and they have all held up well. This model was bought for our 11 year old son. It gives him the feel and look of a real dirt bike, without the danger. It has enough speed for him to be able to handle without it being too much. Nice size too. Goes about 15-17 miles per hour and even though it says it runs about 45 minutes straight on a charge, ours runs approx 1 1/2 hours on a charge. Guess that varies with weight. Razor seems to hold up and their customer service is great too! They go out of their way to satisfy the customer.

So far, the best Razor product we've purchased.

And we've had a few of them. I have read many complaints about Razor and their customer service. Fortunately, my experience has been very positive. This is the fourth razor ride on toy that I've purchased and they have all performed wonderfully. My kid's pocket ROcket is almost 4 years old now, and is still working well on the original battery.

ANyway, THIS KART IS AWESOME! In addition to arriving fully assembled, and charged up, this thing does everything it claims. It's got great torque, crawls right through mud and over bumps and uphill, and is a very well constructed little buggy.

Like the MX350, I would prefer a footbrake, because my 3 year old can drive this thing, but can't squeeze the hand brake. OH well, he's younger than the recommended age so this is on me. THe motor provides more than enough " engine braking" anyway to bring the thing to a pretty rapid halt when you let off the gas.

I am verypleased in every way with this buggy.

Only notes:
The flag is Black, and really should be orange, and perhaps taller.

The tires are not the same ones pictures above. THey have a weird kind of mixed tread that is street ready in the center, with really aggressive treads on the sides. We'll see how long they last. Kind of cool, just not what I expected given the pic.

All the kids in teh nneighborhood seem to think it's fast, but my kids have been riding these kinds of toys since before they could walk, and this one could maybe use a higher top speed. But to sacrafice a bit of speed for what is pretty incredible torque is a worthy tradeoff.

For the price, there really isn't a better toy for a little kid.

My boys are 3 and 5 and are just in heaven with this car.

Battery lasts them full throttle for about an hour.

I bought this product because my 2 kids (aged 6 and 7.5) want a "little car". They always wanted a "power wheels" and still do! But I wouldn't buy one then and I'm certainly not going to buy one now.

This product seemed like a good solution - its not as fast as the Razor go-kart - 8mph vs 12 mph. And the idea that it is "off-road entertainment" is very compelling as we have some hard packed dirt paths nearby. I disliked the razor go-kart because it requires the kids to either drive in the street OR in a parking lot which didn't seem super safe, and also seemed like it would get boring sooner. I like the idea that we could take this to many parks and just run around.

I was very curious to see what the owners manual said, and I'm going to share that with you. We all know that owners manuals can be a bit restrictive, but, it does say what it says for a reason.

Keep in mind, I think this is a great product, but I think you deserve the full disclosure! Pros and Cons at the bottom.

1) The first page out of the box says "this product is not a toy... suitable for use only by persons ages 13 and older". WOW!! And all over the Amazon page it says 8 years old. Now I'm sure this is something the lawyers made them add, I bet some 9 year old got hurt. But: use your judgement! (and read #4)
2) The initial charge time is 18 hours. In other words, Christmas eve. Not a biggie, but you aren't supposed to use it "right out of the box" as another review has said.
3) Recharge time: 12 hours. Yes, you are going to get up to 45 minutes of fun - PER DAY. If you are on the fence about electric vs. gas, this might push you to the gas powered model. Extra battery is $55. I'm sorely tempted to buy one before xmas and have both charged because ... I have 2 kids! (I can't afford 2 dune buggies)
4) It **DOES** have a throttle adjustment (which you set with an alan wrench). I am going to do this for Xmas day! I hope it extends the battery life. In other words, I will limit the max speed and let my 7 and a half year old ride it anyway. i think they will be thrilled even at 5 mph, and after they master it I can le them have the full power.
5) Page 4: Vehicle does not run when rolling backwards. This is why a parent has to be around. The brake just stops you temporarily. As soon as you release, you keep rolling backwards. Obviously, brake+accelerate+release brake OR if you are out of power turn the wheel and go sideways until you stop. But this is not going to be obvious to some children.
6) No reverse. This is good and bad for reasons you can guess.
7) Page 5: "If the vehicle runs sluggishly: Driving conditions are too stressful. Use only on solid, flat clean and dry surfaces such as pavement or level ground." To me, this means its not REALLY offroad. I already knew that "dune buggy" was wishful thinking, but its more like a "parking lot buggy" the way this reads...
8) page 5: goes over "overheating". Apparently it has a circuit which limits the max speed ("cuts the power" didn't sound cool enough, I guess) and will even shut the unit completely off if it overheats.

USAGE:
Pros:
1) Accelerator is a thumb paddle. I think this is great! Very easy for children. Very safe. Its proven that your hand can move faster than your foot, and I'm sure that it will be easier for them to regulate the speed.
2) Parents can set the throttle. Very safe.
3) Slows quickly when accelerator is released. Brakes seem "optional" or maybe just for when you start rolling backwards (LOL).
4) Handles minor bumps (1 to 2 inches) with ease. This alone makes it waaay better than the go kart version, IMO... the soft tires help make it a more comfortable bump too.

Dings:
1) Low Power light: It has a light that lights up when battery power is "low". Nice! Cool! But, it would be nice if it had an audible bell tone, and if the manual would tell us if this is 5 minutes, or 3 minutes, or whatever... i really don't think many kids are going to notice this in the middle of having fun. I can already tell I'm going to be carrying this thing back from the hard packed dirt trails around my house - in my truck.
2) Clearance. The ground clearance is pretty bad, its only a couple inches. I don't think this thing has enough torque, and certainly no suspension. So, you are going to stay on the flat and level anyway.

Overall, i'd buy it again. I'm happy with it and I think its very safe. But, there are a few little details that I thought you might want to know :) Hope it helped.

Razor Dune Buggy Better Then Expected!

After having a "real" Dune Buggy years ago, I purchased two Razor Dune Buggies for my grandchildren for Christmas (6 1/2 and 8 yrs old). The order was delivered much faster then expected and the only thing I had to do is add a little air to the tires and charge the batterys.

The Buggy is belt extremely well and because the tires have groves for off road riding, it moves over grass and smooth surfaces much better then other ride on toys. The hand controls were easy for the kids to operate and the 6 1/2 yr old had no problems at all. And "yes" it definitely travels FAST enough!

I believe a child over 10 yrs old would probably be too large to ride comfortably, but the Buggy would probably carry them easily any way. The battery lasted a good 45 minutes or more, and ran full throttle most of the time.

There are many-many safty factors built in and the Manual gave good safety rules and advice. This also was very important to me AND the kids.

I've purchased other Razor products, and as usual Razor didn't let me down. Great product.......great service.......and this grandma even rode it and for a few minutes became a kid once again. Go for it.........

Great starter dirtbike for a small kid.

I purchased four of these at the same time. I have three six year olds and an eight year old. The assembly was pretty quick and easy. Most of the bike is together right out of the box but it took about 30 minutes to get the rest together.

The bikes go pretty fast to be electric. The claim to go about 14mph and I'd say thats about right. I have a golf cart and I couldn't keep up with the bikes with it. There pretty sturdy as well. I've only had the bikes for a few weeks and they've been dropped and crashed numerous times and they keep on going.

I did have one of the bikes that didn't work and Amazon was great at getting it shipped back to them and refunded (although the refund took about two weeks).

The bikes will hold even the bigger boys with little problem, but don't expect to get the same top end speed and run time as with the lighter kids. I even rode it a couple of times and I weigh 188lbs (but its not really supposed to have more than 140lbs person on it...lol)

It takes about 5 hours to charge (depending on the current charge of the battery). You can expect to get about 45 minutes from a single charge. My eight year old gets several minutes less than one of my lighter six year olds.

In summary, I am satisfied with the item. It is exactly as the company describes. You really can't beat it for the price. My kids have great fun on them and I didn't have to fork over $800-$1000 for a gas powered dirt bike. I hope this helps someone in deciding on this purchase.

Watch out Product has Changed.....NO SUSPENSION!

Ohhhhh, what a disappointment we had today. My son has been saving every dollar for over a year to buy this electric offroad bike. Based on all the reviews and pictures, I was sure this was going to be a great bike for him. Well, much to my surprise, we unpacked the box and found a bike very unlike the pictures or descriptions. First, and most important, a solid frame. WHAT?! Not front or rear suspension as shown in the pics or the descriptions. Second, no front disc brake as shown in the pictures and even on the video on Razor's website. Third, the packaging was insufficient and severely damaged when we got the box. No foam supports like in the video on Razor's website, just a couple of cardboard blocks. Fourth, it doesn't work. Charged it up, turned it on, NADA! Nothing. Light turns on, wheel doesn't go. I'm very disappointed, as is my son. Clearly Razor has taken a turn for the cheap on this bike since the last review. We'll be returning this one and trying to find an older model that still has all the features we thought we were buying.
UPDATE*** Just got off the phone with Razor and have official confirmation that all suspension has been remove from this model. Don't believe the product description here or anywhere else that it has suspension. Very deceiving if you ask me. And a corporate money pinching move that undermines their reputation if you ask me.
UPDATE2*** Amazon took this back no questions asked and paid the shipping. I went on Craigslist and was lucky enough to find a brand new older model. Bought that one and my son just LOVES it. I don't know how you could ride this without the suspension though. He rockets all over our property with it. So Razor definitely messed up a perfect product. What a shame. You might be able to find an old demo model at some sporting goods stores. I saw one on the shelf at Dunhams that still had suspension on it. But they will be hard to find. Good luck!

This little motorcycle is surprising tough and handles really well! Our son loves it and it's just perfect for parents who want more than a bicycle, more than the toddlers power wheels, but their child just isn't quite ready for a gas powered dirt bike. We thought our Son may need some time to get used to the way a motorcycle handled, but he took right to it. Always be safe and use helmet and pads! Got a great price from Amazon.com, better than anywhere else and we looked for a long time.

Ok here we go. I wrote that review on the Honda Minimoto Dirtbike.I said how it was not good and how I purchased the Go Kart and the Maxxi and they also had problems. Read that review, the title is "TRUST ME READ THIS". I said to myself you know what im going buy the Razor MX500 Dirt Bike. WOW WHAT A GREAT BUY!!!!!! This thing is durable, safe, and fun. I recommend it for ages 8-15 years old. However there are reviews for other razor products about the battery life. Yes the battery life is not good, IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. I followed the directions and my MX500's battery is fantastic. To have a good motor and battery follow these easy steps...
1. Take MX500 out of box CAREFULLY!
2. Assemble in order of the directions (If you follow them it will be assembled in 20 minutes).
3. Turn MX500 on and JUST FOR ONE SECOND TWIST THE THROTTLE just to make sure it works. (Do not ride just a flick of the throttle just to check).
4. Charge the MX500 overnight or for 12 or more hours (The key is to charge it for 12+ hours)
5. Take the charger out and go ride
If you follow these directions given your MX500 will be perfect.

It's the Bomb!!

We purchased this electric dirt bike for our son's 13th birthday and it has been a big hit! The bike weighs about 105 lbs. so the most difficult part was getting it out of the box for me to do the minor assembly. Parents don't have to worry that their kids won't get exercise because they have ditched their bicycles because it only runs 45-60 minutes on a charge and takes at least 4 hours to recharge. This doesn't bother my son or his friends as the 45 minutes seems to be enough time to have fun before they are off to something else. I would highly recommend this for a 13 year old that is stuck between the "toy" age and the teen "clothing" age. In two more years he will be in drivers education so we felt this would teach him some of those basic skills of driving.

E300S Scooter Critique

This seated Razor scooter is very well constructed, and even though it has only been test-driven one time because of adverse weather conditions, it seems to reach an adequate top speed. However: if planning to purchase the E300S Razor, be aware that the scooter will only operate for a maximum of forty (40) minutes, after which it takes at least eight (8) hours of recharging to prepare it for another forty (40) minutes of use.
It is also noted in the directions that the two (2) 12 volt batteries can be recharged about 200 times before they have to be replaced. This means if the scooter is used and recharged every day, the batteries will have to be replaced in just a little over six (6) months. These are two things that need to be considered before making a purchase.

E300S scooter

I got this scooter about 1 month ago, a little more. So far I am very pleased with it. The scooter is very easy to control, actually there is nothing really comlplicated about it. It is advertised as being able to go only 15 mph but I have clocked it at 19.7 mph. Only one reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because of the charger. The scooter when fully charged only holds its charge for only about 45 minutes. I have also heard from a reliable source that after about 200 charges the battery goes out and you need to buy a new one. This is still a great scooter and is a good value.

Great fun!

Now that I've had the scooter for a couple of weeks, I feel it's a good time to write a review.

I'm in college. I'm 5'3" and weigh 118 pounds. This scooter is the perfect size for me. In fact, like another reviewer who is my height said, my feet almost don't touch the ground when I'm sitting on the seat. So please keep that in mind if you are thinking of purchasing this scooter for a child.

This scooter is powerful and fast. It easily makes it up average hills. It will not climb steep hills but you can help it along by kicking.

The battery lasts a long time for me. I haven't kept time, but I can make it around town and back and still have charge left. It's easy to combine coasting and power to make the battery last longer.

The handlebars don't adjust in height. It's a big scooter. It weighs 60 pounds. You will need to leave it outside when you reach your destination, so you'll need a good lock.

It needs to charge for at least 12 hours when the battery is low. Unfortunately, there is no battery indicator.

I love the color. It is pink with little flowers and super cute. I receive compliments about it all the time.

I attached a removable wire basket to the seat post (it faces backwards). You may want to consider one, too, because it's handy when you need to carry books, groceries, etc.

The scooter is great fun! It's good for the environment, too. I would totally recommend it to other college students. I use this for quick errands and then take the bus or carpool if I need to go somewhere farther.

I would also recommend it to teenagers who can't drive yet because you don't need a license for this and the freedom you gain is priceless.

Amazon shipped this quickly and I received it in less than a week. Great price, great company.

We got this for my daughters 8th birthday and what was the first thing she does when she rides it? Wrecks.... But she had no clue of how to ride it. Other than that this is pretty cool. It does go just fast enough for someone who has never rode it before. I even got on it and I see why she wrecked on it. As soon as I took off on it, it really went. So be careful, even ride it before your child does, if they have never rode one before and explain how to ride it. And the spark thing is neat too. The charge on the scooter is still good without recharging yet and the spark has still a little left on it. Yeah the spark only last a little while but its still worth it. Also this was the cheapest place to buy it and received it the next day, just like they said I would. I love amazon and you can't go wrong from ordering this.

Best birthday gift ever!!

Got this for my 6-year old son for his birthday.
That was 3 months ago. This thing gets use almost every day and is the coolest thing on the road.
I ride my bike and he motors along side wearing his helmet and knee pads.
It goes fast, but not too fast, and is incredibly sturdy and easy for him to steer.
He parks it in his spot in the garage when done and hooks it up himself to recharge. Batteries last a long time so it's not always necessary.
My son gets looks and comments everywhere he goes, and he always has fun whether there is a spark bar attached or not. They don't wear out too quickly, and aren't too expensive to replace... so we bought some extras for him.
I know he'll be using this for years to come.
Excellent quality, excellent fun, excellent price and value for the money.
You will not be disappointed!

A great product -- recommended

For starters, ignore the comments that rate this item poorly; they didn't like the color! I purchased the Razor e125 for my nine year old son. It assembles easily in a few minutes. He loves it and it is easy to use. It moves him along at a good speed, but not too fast. The motor has plenty of torque and it holds a good charge, lasting about 40 minutes or so. The Amazon price is a bargain, I could not find it anywhere else for less. I recomend this for anyone with "tweens."

a lot of fun!

This little scooter is a lot of fun! I just gave it to my nephew for Christmas and he loved it! The difference between the E100 and E125 is that the E100 is belt driven motor and the 125 is chain driven. I'd recommend the 125 for durability and performance. Just don't test drive either of them in the house!!!

These scooters rock!!!

These were last minute items for my two daughters at Christmas. The boxes looked a bit ragged when they arrived but I opened them and "surprise" there were a couple of great RED scooters. Took ten minutes to assemble (with provided tool)and overnight to charge fully but then they were down for whatever. Can't seem to get them to park them; my only regret is that i didn't spring for a larger one I could blast around on!! They are constantly out for 3 to 4 hours and if one gets low on juice you can either milk it back or just kick it in like a normal scooteter. HIGHLY RECCOMEND!

Great, but definitely not for kids under 8

I had a Power Wheels toy for my girls when they were 2 and 4. Now that my son was turning 4, I didn't want him driving around in a pink Barbie Jeep.

I went and bought the Ground Force but it is significantly faster - the Power Wheels tops out at 5mph (but also allows you to lock the speed to a max of 2.5mph), whereas the Ground Force has a max speed of 12mph.

I must say though, that I (a 40 year old man who weighs 165 pounds) LOVE this thing...It was fast, nimble and my neighbors got used to seeing me drive around the neighborhood. But, ahem, where was I? Oh yes, back to the kids.

My 6 and 9 year old daughters love this car since it is significantly faster than their old Power Wheel car. I was even able to take my 6 year old out with it when I went roller blading and she was able to keep up with me and then some (we went out for about an hour (so figure we went about 8-10 miles since we weren't going the full hour.

That being said, it is way too fast for my 4 year old...and even my 6 year old who knows how to drive was doing a series of figure 8's in the street at max speed and loving it...when she lost control and ran full speed into the curb...she was NOT a happy camper, although she wasn't seriously hurt.

The car does sit low though...so if a child were to run under an SUV...there is a very real chance the child could be seriously hurt though because their face would smack into the bumper...so PLEASE be mindful.

I allowed our friend's daughter who was 5 to drive the car in an very open field and she loved it...but ended up losing control as well and running into a play structure. She hurt hurt herself and broke the seatbelt because she panicked and went full speed into the structure...she wasn't seriously hurt...but I have definitely re-thought my stance about letting ANY child under 8 or 9 drive the cart by themselves.

Because there is no way to lock out the max speed...the children should be very carefully supervised. I do drive my 4 year old in my lap (and even drove him to pre-school one day in the morning (which he loved btw). Of course, I did look a bit stupid driving home in this go kart in the morning near the school...but my son was VERY excited! ;)

Please please be careful with this car with young children.

Outstanding FUN -- need better manual

Our son received this for his 9th birthday and LOVES it. Unlike the review below, he had no problem acheiving 12+ mph.

If you're used to the Peg Perego electric toy ride-ons, this is very different. It's very solid throughout, mostly metal with hard plastic. There aren't any bells and whistles, just a variable speed forward throttle (no reverse) and brake, both of which work extremely well. This is a real go-kart: very low to the ground for tight cornering. The battery is built in, and with a very simple plug for charging -- but the trade off is that you can't stock multiple batteries for longer play time. Our son usually gets near the advertised 45 minutes of play time before recharges, and there is a nice indicator on the steering wheel warning of low charge.

You will need a fairly large smooth area (like a parking lot) for your kid to use this go-kart. It doesn't take bumps well being so low to the ground. The kart is small, so can fit in minivans/SUVs/wagons for transport.

Assembly is simple for those who are mechanically inclined, made challenging only by the poor manual (more on that below). You put the steering wheel on (it requires a plastic inset on top and bottom and to make sure the bottom bolt is very tight) and put the seat on (may require taping down the wires under the seat). Add the flag and you are done.

The one negative is that the provided manual is a joke, and Razor's customer service tells me that a new one is being written. I suspect that the relative lack of availability of this model (at least one national retailer has discontinued it) is due to the poor manual quality. When I say "joke", it is really LOL humorous. The mechanic who wrote it clearly was unhappy that any assembly was being left to the end user. It has comments like "use the provided tools only as a last resort" (they are actually fine) and a suggestion that you find a "real" mechanic to assemble it. It contains unhelpful advice, such as warning you the kart moves while in use, while not mentioning the need for plastic inserts with the steering wheel. The worst is that there is no discussion of the use of the product after assembly, such as what to do if the circuit breaker trips or how to maximize battery life (the customer service tells me that the battery should be used up before recharge, and that it should not be plugged in for more than 6 hours).

So, if you feel uncomfortable with a poor manual, I suggest delaying purchase of this until is fixed. Otherwise, this toy is outstanding.

GREAT! Very good value for the price!!!

I had second thoughts after reading the negative review about this item...but WOW am I ever glad I didn't listen to THAT review! I bought this for my 6 year old son and he is having an absolute BLAST with this item. I was very impressed with the all steel construction and the top speed is more like 15 mph as opposed to the 12 mph claim on the box. Over all I think this is an EXCELLENT value for the price in workmanship, quality, and the simple fact that this thing is just ALOT of FUN!!!

good but not great

The scooter is good, works fine, good battery life and stable but with someone even close to the rated load it has inadequate clearance between the ground and the motor. I got this one for my wife the 100 for my child (she loves it) and the 300 for me. Just driving around the neighborhood and hitting little dips in the road on the 200 will cause the motor to hit the street very hard. The 100 has a solid wheel so even though the clearance is low it does not suffer the same fate. If you are going to get a bigger scooter than the 100 then go for the 300, the clearance issue is much improved for that model.

I bought this for my 9 year-old daughter and she loves it. I was considering the E100 because of the age recommendations but decided to go with the E200 because of the weight capacity. I'm glad I did. My daughter can handle it just fine and I don't have to worry about an older child getting on it and breaking it.

I bought one of these at Toys'R'Us and have had so much fun. It hasn't had one problem and it's a lot faster and easier than walking. I know you may think that a kid's review doesn't matter but this product is targeted for our age group and I believe it's most important to know what we think of it. When my 11-year old started begging for an electric scooter, we were very hesitant. A neighbor has one and it's the stand-up kind with a VERY loud motor that drives us nuts on the weekends. We gave in, and went shopping. While we were reviewing the standing scooter, we noticed the Razor Pocket Mod and it was the SAME PRICE! I, of course, thought it was adorable and my daughter was easily swayed.

It was easy to put together and charge, however pumping the tires was a wee bit difficult just because of the angle required. The tires are nice and fat/sturdy, too, so riding offroad or over small rocks wasn't an issue. The biggest thing we noticed though, was that it is AMAZINGLY QUIET! What a blessing compared to the neighbor's noisy scooter! It practically 'purrs' and you don't even hear it until you are right next to it.

Seeing her ride it is incredible! It is VERY easy for any child that can balance and ride a bike. The handle brakes/gas takes a bit of getting used to, but after a few days she was a pro! Her papa rides a motorcycle, so he was dying to check it out. Weighing in about 180lbs, he was able to ride it as well! My daughter got a big kick out of that.

The battery lasts quite a while! An hour may not sound like a lot of time, but if it's not continuous (kids stop/start chat/ride/play) it can last hours. It charges quickly and easily, and it's small and fits well in the side of the garage. Though she's 11, we were told by the salesman that younger kids who are responsible can definitely ride it.

It IS fast, though, which was a bit unnerving at first. It doesn't sound like 15 MPH is that fast (I think that's what it is), but when you see your child going down a hill that fast - it seems quite scary! It doesn't turn quite as sharply as a bike or standing scooter can, so they have to learn it's limitations. Definitely get a helmet and kneepads!

This is the BEST ITEM we have purchased for her in YEARS! Highly recommended!

Excellent Scooter!

My daughter has been asking for a power wheels motorcycle for the last two years. We were hesitant to buy power wheels since the maximum rider weight is so low and she'd quickly outgrow it.

When we saw the Razor mod, it was appealing for several reasons..

#1- It has a maximum rider weight of 225 meaning even my husband and I could ride it!

#2- The price is totally reasonable

#3- Electric power means we can store it indoors

#4- The size is perfect for our daughter.

#5- It looks like a Vespa!

The box says it's for ages 12 and over, but I think that's a bit silly. Our daughter is just 8 and is also the smallest kid in 3rd grade and the scooter is perfectly sized for her. My husband and I both ride full size Vespas, and the scale of the Razor mod fits the same criteria we used when purchasing our bikes- she can put both feet flat on the ground and have room to shift her weight, she can reach/operate the controls easily, and is able to sit squarely on the seat. She can also manage the weight well enough to push the scooter, and get it on and off the center stand by herself.

The bike handles very similarly to a regular bicycle and has enough power to pull hills. She was able to hop on and start riding like she'd been riding this bike her whole life.

I can't recommend this item enough. It's been ridden daily in varying degrees of cold winter days and was the #1 hit of Christmas at our house. Set up took about 15 minutes.

The picture shows a regular bike helmet as protective gear, we are using a real youth sized motorcycle helmet since it offers face protection. Our daughter thinks the real helmet is cooler as she feels like she's riding a real scooter like we have.

Daughter loves it.

This is a great value for the money. Arrived in two days. Perfect condition. Took about 10 minutes to put together. Best of all there is a wall plug to charge it. No messing around with batteries. Just plug into the wall and into a slot on the bike. Came fully charged. My daughter rides it every day. It is as fast as reported. Batteries charge in less than the eight hours. Usually takes around 5 if they are fully discharged. Great bike.

Check chain tension before riding!!!!

Like some reviews, my 8-year-old son's first E300 only ran about ten minutes per charge and 13mph max speed (yes, I have a radar gun). Troubleshooting sent us toward a dragging brake, but the brake adjustment was fine. The chain, however, was super tight (I'm an old motorcycle racer, so I know a lot about chain tension). I loosened the chain tension, but no improvement, and returned the entire unit. (I suspect either a bad battery or the overly tight chain tension damaged the motor armature.) When the next E300 showed up, I checked the chain immediately out of the box. Again, super tight. I loosened the chain (extra loose for the first run, maybe 3/4" play) and completed the rest of the setup. The unit performed flawlessly. Speed was consistently 17mph and still running strong after 35 minutes (we've only done two test runs so far). Slightly tightened chain tension to about 1/2" after first run. Also, as noted by another reader, we looked everywhere for the rear tire inflater extension, only to find it inside the right handlebar grip cap. Good luck figuring that out when it isn't in the directions. The E300 is sturdily built - a lot more than I would expect for the money. I weigh 210 lbs and the structure doesn't flinch when I climb aboard (although the motor is clearly not intended for any hills or probably heavy riders). My son is about 60 lbs and we live in Florida (no hills), so this thing will hopefully last a long time. If you live where there are hills or you weigh more than 150 lbs, I recommend you look for another scooter. Happy riding.Razor E300 Electric Scooter

Update: 10-01-2007 I took the E300 out for a test run myself after dropping my son off at school (I want to test the unit thoroughly inside the 30-day return policy). I cruised the entire neighborhood, local park and all around. It is a very blustery day (threatening rain and lots of wind), so I encountered lots of headwinds. Through the ride I was up and down small hills too. I did this entire drive without any stopping, and the E300 finally gave out at 25 minutes on the button (the motor was moderately hot to the touch). Because of my weight (210 lbs), I can tell the motor is small and not designed for any hills or adults, so I was very impressed by this performance, especially considering the occasional stiff headwinds that I could tell strained the motor (you have no choice but to stand straight up like a sail forcing against the motor). My 8-year-old son is about 65 lbs and has never seen the "low power" light yet during his two 35 minute runs. I still think we have winner!

Not enough power, battery life

I am very happy with the scooter except that it lacks power to go up even small hills without overheating (so that you have to push it, let it cool, then press the reset button after a few minutes). It cannot operate 45 minutes continuously as claimed, more like 25 minutes, and has a much more limited range than the inferred 7.5 miles (45 minutes at 10 mph), more like 3 miles. It is fast and fun, but does not have the range and power I expected. It is basically good for level places unless you are willing to push it up hills.

Great product!

I purchased 2 Razor 300 scooters for my daughters (8 and 9 years old) for Christmas. They shipped and arrived in 4 days. The were easy to assemble and I was impressed with the quaility. I thought the girls would have a little trouble riding them since the recommended age is 12 yrs old. With an hour or so of instruction they were riding confidently. I am very pleased with everything about these scooters and highly recommend them.

A masterful design for athletes of all ages

I am 44 years old. I bike, I ski, I in-line skate. When I first saw a college student riding one of these, I asked him about it. He said "try it!" I almost did, but I didn't, for fear I would fall and die. I mean, only two wheels? And I didn't have my helmet with me.

I finally broke down and bought one after seeing some cool videos on the internet. After putting on my helmet, and my knee and elbow pads and my wrist guards, I took it out into the parking lot today.

The first ride is very scary, like riding a buttered block of ice, and lasts only about 1 second. After about five rides I'm up to five seconds and smiling my butt off.

For the next half hour I can't stop smiling, even when I fall off (once). After this time, I'm able to make left turns, and I can even go uphill by doing a sort of manic twist to gain momentum. My longest ride is about 30 seconds.

If you consider yourself coordinated, well-balanced, and reasonably athletic, I recommend this product to you, regardless of your age. It works perfectly, and presents a new athletic challenge that is well worth mastering. The independent steering of the front and back wheels adds a whole new dimension to the fun. The challenge of staying on the board will get you sweating without even realizing you are exercising.

The Ripstik Caster Board is a revolutionary product, just as significant, I think, as the in-line skate. Buy one before you get too old for it.

Amazingly fun and easy, but the wheels suck

I bought this thing about 3 weeks ago after I saw a kid riding it around a college campus. After maybe 5 minutes of me holding onto my car to stay balanced, I was riding around nervously. A few days later, I was riding around parking lots, no problem! Much easier than a skateboard.

Now onto durability--3 weeks later, I was carving down a hill just like I'd snowboard. Wicked fun, right? ...Not so much. After only 3 trips down the hill, the back wheel wore ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE PLASTIC. It's completely smoked. 3 weeks, man!

The good news is, you don't have to buy the replacement "ripstik" wheels. They're identical to rollerblade wheels. If you have an old junk pair of rollerblades somewhere, you have 8 spare back wheels. With just an allen wrench, I was able to swap in the ripstik bearing (the inner diameter a little bigger than my rollerblade bearings) into the rollerblade wheel, and I was good to go! The front wheel doesn't wear out (with my style anyway), so I'm good for another 3*8=24 weeks. I'll get back on craigslist to get a new set of junk rollerblades when I need more!

Great ,but know yourself before you buy one

I am 13, i am 5 6 and 130 pounds. i have always had good balance and, extra money. i was looking at this on amazon and the first time i saw it i was like "what?" and then i went over to my friends house and he had one and was like sweet. i was looking a waveboards but he had a ripstick, which i like a lot better.

he has a sort of steep driveway, but not really, so i just stepped on and let the speed keep me balanced. so i guess i am different because he thought i had definatley ridden on one before. i hadnt. then i started ging around his driveway when he told me how to move, so it was a lot of fun. i picked it up you could say in 5 minutes, and then i went out and bought one and mastered it in the first 2 days. now i just do tricks as it gets boring just riding around. i can go up massive hills, but not back down them. i tried that once, picked up a ton more spped than i thought, i jumped off and somersaulted into the pavement and into a telephone pole. there is absolutely no way to stop, you have to carve to slow down!

for me it is a great way to get around, and since not a lot of people have them everyone thinks its really cool when i show them. not really for kids, but my brother is 10 and he learned on mine in about a week. he then went on to buy his own and has mastered it as well. i havnt had any wheel problems like people say they do, and mine are perfectly in tact after having it for 3 months of HEAVY HEAVY riding. mine is all squeaky and stuff, and is very loud down hills, but thats because i trash mine from messing up tricks. its not too bad, but is definatly different than my brother's whose is really silent. he doesnt like to do tricks or anything so i guess that explains why.

very heavy duty, worth the money absolutely. great toy, makes you want to go outside. know your limits and know if you would actually use one of these. id say get one, these things are sick.

Built for fun, just be careful.

I bought an E100 from Amazon for my 7-year-old son about 45 days ago. I can tell you that only rain and wet roads have prevented him from riding it daily!

At first, my wife and I questioned my judgment in buying it for him. The first time he got on it, he lost control of it had a bad-looking crash. He hopped up unharmed though, so we gave him some time to learn. Every day since then, I have found him being diligent to charge it and eager to ride it.

So, here's my list of pros and cons.

Pros:
1. The battery lasts a good hour of uphill/downhill riding.
2. The large, pneumatic tire up front makes quick work of bumps and rocks.
3. The wide standing surface allows for his feet to be together, side-by-side, if he wants.
4. The scooter is sturdy and solid.
5. The handlebars and shaft can be separated from the body for transport.
6. It's quick enough for fun, but not so fast as to be dangerous.
7. It ships in two pieces: Handlbars/shaft assembly and the main body. Attaching the two pieces is all the assembling that's necessary.

Cons:
1. The brake is insufficient. It will eventually stop the scooter, but don't let your kid(s) rely on it. Teach them to steer out of situations and release the throttle. It will not stop my 9-year-old (65 lbs) son when he's rolling down our slightly sloped driveway. Of course, the effectiveness of the brake is directly proportional to the strength of the rider's grip, but the gripping power of kids in this age group is probably less than what this scooter-brake combo needs.
2. The rear wheel is like one on a regular Razor scooter - solid and slick. This works well on most dry surfaces, but be careful because it can and will slide in more situations than a grooved, rubber tire would.
3. The drive chain attaches on right side of the back wheel, and it has a cover over it. That sounds like it should be a good thing, but the cover is actually so large that it prevents most right turns. If you turn more than just a little to the right, the cover will make contact with the road, and the back wheel will lose contact with the road.

Notes:
1. There is an on/off switch on the battery.
2. The motor engages after the scooter reaches 3 mph.
3. The manual recommends charging the scooter for 12-18 hrs.
4. The scooter is heavy enough to render it useless without the motor. Don't expect that your kid will continue to use it as a push scooter when the battery dies.
5. The scooter did NOT ship in plain packaging. It shipped in just the scooter box. It was for my son's birthday, and the surprise was nearly spoiled when delivery came.

Summary:

This scooter is a good buy for the money, and so long as you are aware of the issues that come with it, it will make for a fun toy. My son still tells me that this scooter is the best present he has ever received! If you have the money to get the 200 or 300, I would recommend doing so as long as you're comfortable with the increased speed/power.

Parts Game - do you want to play?

Here's my experience with this scooter: I bought it for my 8 yo daughter. It worked for exactly 1 minute and then the motor wouldn't turn anymore. The box says "Don't return to the store. Call the manufacturer and we'll take care of you". So I called Razor. The customer service lady had me go through the motion of "troubleshooting" the problem. She concluded "It's very common, the battery died because these things sit on the shelf too long, I'll send you new batteries." Two weeks later, the batteries arrived. It was not a trivial task to replace them. You have to disassemble the entire deck of the scooter and induced wear and tear on the screws and mounts. Charged it back up and guess what - NO GO. Called Razor for the second time. The customer service lady had me go through the motion of "troubleshooting" the problem. She now concluded "Oh, it's the wiring assembly to the batteries that's faulty. I will send you a new wiring kit." Two weeks later, the kit arrived. The same painful procedure to disassemble the scooter and install the wiring kit. More wear and tear on the screws. Charged it back up and guess what - NO GO. Called Razor for the third time. The customer service lady had me go through the motion of "troubleshooting" the problem. She now concluded "Oh, it's the fuse assembly that's faulty. I will send you a new one." Two weeks later, the fuse arrived. The same painful procedure to disassemble the scooter and install the fuse. More wear and tear on the screws. Charged it back up and guess what - NO GO. Called Razor for the fourth time. The customer service lady had me go through the motion of "troubleshooting" the problem. She now concluded "Oh, it must be the battery charger. I will send you a new one." Two weeks later, the new charger arrived. Charged it back up and guess what - NO GO. By now, I was convinced that the motor is fried and there's no fixing that. Called Razor for the fifth time. The customer service lady had me go through the motion of "troubleshooting" the problem. She now got all upset like it's my problem that nothing has worked. She suggested I take it to a lawn & garden shop to have a technician "look at it" at my expense. So here's the moral of the story: Razor will play the "parts game" with you to death until your return deadline with Amazon runs out. So, if your scooter doesn't work, send it back to Amazon ASAP. Do not pass GO and absolutely do not call Razor or your're SCREWED!!!

Great little Scoot . .

I purchased this for my 8 year old. This has been a joy of his for quite a few months. It runs well, peppy and the battery seems to hold up for a very long riding period. He has had times in excess of 1 hr. riding around the house and driveway.
The only thing which is minor that annoys me is that when you corner very sharply the chain protector drags the pavement. No damage is done but it seems this part of the scooter should be higher off the ground.
Overly recommended for children of appropriate ages. Get your child one, they and you will not regret it.
